9 years in prison for supporting the Russian Federation: a woman from Kryvyi Rih was detained for passing on information about the National Guard

The court found a resident of Kryvyi Rih guilty of distributing materials with public calls for a violent change of power, unauthorized distribution of information about the location of military formations, and denial of the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine. She received 9 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Prosecutors from the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office proved that the woman, having pro-Russian views, transmitted information about the location of National Guard units through a banned social network. In her publications, she supported the actions of the Russian military and praised the Russian president.

The arrest took place in April 2023. The defendant will be in custody until the verdict comes into force. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by SBU investigators in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
