“Zhadan and Dogs” will release charity merch in memory of the deceased artist from Kharkiv

The popular group “Zhadan and Dogs” will release a series of charity merch with drawings of Veronika Kozhushko, an artist from Kharkiv who died in a Russian rocket attack, in memory of the artist and her work.

The band announced this on their Facebook page.

Veronika sent her drawings to the merch contest for the band “Zhadan and Dogs”. T-shirts with her works will be printed separately from the competition results.

Nika Kozhushko is our good friend and the bright future of Ukrainian art. She, like you, also took part in the competition. We express our sincere condolences to the family and want to join in preserving the memory of her and her work, the band said in a statement.

All funds from this series of t-shirts will go to Veronika Kozhushko's parents. Details and the start of merch sales will be announced later.

Veronika Kozhushko is an 18-year-old artist from Kharkiv. She was an active participant in the city's cultural life, collaborated with the literary museum and the “Slovo” Residence, created illustrations for the works of Ukrainian poets and drew portraits of writers on shopping carts.
