At 3:41 am on the night of September 11, the last operating 6th power unit of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was turned off. Energoatom reported this.

The plant shutdown was carried out by the station staff in order to ensure the safety of the nuclear power plant, which continues to be subjected to constant shelling by Russian invaders. The unit was transferred to a cold state.

For the last three days, the 6th unit operated at minimum power (from 114 to 140 MW) and provided the station's internal needs for electricity.

Yesterday, September 10, it was possible to repair one of the electric networks that connect the ZNPP with the Ukrainian energy system, through which it is now possible to supply the station with electricity.

If the enemy interrupts the electricity network again, the  turn on the diesel generators. In in this case, stable operation of the station will be guaranteed only as long as there are enough diesel fuel reserves.
