After two years of absence, the major charity event of the French stream is back. From Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024, the Z Event generated an exceptional sum to combat precariousness.
ZEVENT 2024: mission accomplished
Having become a true institution in streaming, the Z Event has made its big comeback, after raising an astronomical sum in 2022. This year, just a few months after the Streamers4Palestinians event, gathered around Baghera Jones, thirty-six streamers gathered in Montpellier to raise money for five associations: the French Secours Populaire, Cop1 – Solidarités étudiantes, Bureaux du Coeur, Solidarité Paysanne and Chapitre 2. A hundred other streamers, including Bob Lennon, participated in the ZEvent remotely.

We were treated to many very popular events, such as the “Questions Pour Un Streamer” by Etoiles, “Le Grand Quiz Hardcore du Grenier”, hosted by Frédéric Molas from the Joueur du Grenier channel, the new DJ Set by INSULINE & NICOTINE, and the final rush by Domingo. Several celebrities have also made generous donations: streamer Michou, football star Antoine Griezmann and four-time Olympic champion Léon Marchand.

Several streamers, including Zerator and Etoiles, had announced that the amount generated during this new edition would not exceed the record broken in 2022. Indeed, the decision to reduce the number of streamers on site and the decision to propose donation goals that will be honored during the event could have been obstacles to donations. However, the streamers will have succeeded in motivating the viewers, since the amount collected at the end of ZEvent 2024 is 10,145,881 euros, including the 1,300,000 euros from the store, or barely 36,000 euros less than during the last edition. Bravo to them!
