Although the release of Kaizen in theaters poses a problem for the CNC, the National Center for Cinema and Animated Image, Inoxtag's documentary is a real success. Available on Youtube, and offered in theatersfor a limited number of screenings, this film, which traces his ascent of Everest, has won the hearts of the general public, and not just his fans. But how much did the 22-year-old, whose real name is Inés Benazzouz, pocket from this adventure? Our colleagues at the Surf Finance website have done the math, and you'll see, it's colossal! The 360,000 cinema tickets sold have generated around 5 million euros in revenue, of which 60% is donated to movie theaters, which amounts to 40%, or 2 million euros, for Inoxtag.

And that's not all! The project's nine prestigious sponsors (including Nike, Deer and Aup) each earned between 50,000 and 150,000 euros. The total of these different collaborations, or around 750,000 euros, covered part of the production costs. Last but not least, TF1 bought the broadcasting rights to the documentary to broadcast it soon on its channel. The exact amount of the channel's check has not been communicated, but according to Surf Finance, it could bring the total earnings to nearly 4 million euros.
In total, subtracting the 2 million euros spent by Inoxtag for the production of its film (filming costs, editing, travel, equipment, as well as the technical team), the YouTuber has earned a net profit of 2,060,000 euros!
