Beef stroganoff, or beef stroganoff, is a meat dish made of finely chopped pieces of beef covered with hot sour cream sauce.

This is a classic of world cuisine, which has become a symbol of elegance and gastronomic skill.

This dish has undergone many transformations , but it has always remained a favorite on tables all over the world, – writes Ryabenko.

Ingredients:

  • Beef tenderloin – 600 g;
  • Bullion – 450 ml;
  • Flour – 30 g;
  • White dry wine – 200 ml;
  • Mushrooms – 450 g;
  • Onion – 1 pc;
  • Oil – 2 tbsp;
  • Garlic – 3 cloves;
  • Oil – 2 tablespoons;
  • Salt, pepper;
  • Fresh thyme – 1 tablespoon;
  • Sour cream – 120 g;
  • li>Dijon mustard – 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the meat into thin strips. Add salt and pepper and fry in oil on a hot pan on all sides (no more than 4 minutes in total) and set aside.

2. Put oil on the same pan. Add chopped onion in half rings, mushrooms, garlic and thyme. Fry until onions are ready.

3. Add flour and mix.

4. Pour in wine and broth. Cook for 10-15 minutes.

5. Add sour cream, mustard, salt and pepper. And return the meat to the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
