Xiaomi plans to integrate the CyberOne robot into the production process

Xiaomi unveiled CyberOne, its first humanoid robot in 2022, reportedly equipped with high power density actuators. It joins the company's series of robots Cyber ​​​​– CyberDog and CyberDog 2. The latest news is that Xiaomi Robotics is currently actively promoting the phased introduction of the robot into its own production system. According to the company, the intelligence of robots can be used in specific scenarios of its production process.

It is reported that Xiaomi envisions building an open source platform through technological innovation and breakthroughs. The unit continues to improve technology. A more powerful and intelligent version of the robot will be able to contribute to more areas of Xiaomi's production process. The company also reportedly plans to expand applications to various industries such as electronics, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence and automobiles.

The project is reportedly expected to be Beijing's first project to develop, manufacture and demonstrate the application of a humanoid product.

CyberOne Biped Robot Abilities

CyberOne is equipped with advanced arms and legs, supports balancing posture during bipedal movement and achieves a maximum torque of up to 300 Nm. The company also demonstrated the robot's ability to detect human emotions along with enhanced vision capabilities. It can create a 3D virtual reconstruction of the real world along with many other advanced technologies.

The robot is 177 cm tall and weighs 52 kg, with an arm span of 168 cm. It supports up to 21 degrees of freedom during movement and reaches speeds real-time response of 0.5 ms for each degree of freedom, which allows it to fully simulate human movements. With an in-house developed humanoid bipedal control algorithm, CyberOne's position is programmed to be natural and stable.
