World Tourism Day is celebrated annually on September 27. This holiday is aimed at popularizing tourism, highlighting its contribution to the economy of the world community, developing ties between the peoples of different countries.

Until this day, Radio Maximum has prepared a selection of popular Ukrainian travel bloggers and YouTube -channels whose videos are definitely worth watching.

Tourism Day in Ukraine began to be celebrated in 1998. Our country is rich in many unique tourist locations that can be visited by citizens of Ukraine or foreigners.

Popular Ukrainian travel bloggers:

1 . UKRAINER

The most popular media site about Ukraine, its history and culture, created in 2016. During this period, a team of volunteers with expeditions visited hundreds of Ukrainian settlements exploring the local way of life, traditions, holidays, ethnic features, authentic crafts, architecture, folklore, etc.

2. Misha Katsurin and Anton Ptushkin

Anton Ptushkin is the most famous travel blogger in Ukraine, who is included in the TOP-5 domestic influencers according to Forbes. And Misha Katsurin is a co-owner of several popular restaurants in Kyiv and a food blogger. In 2023, Anton and Misha launched a joint project in which they talk about the food of Ukrainian cities and regions.

3. One right

The author of the vlog is Vladyslav Khilchenko from Kharkiv – a huge snowboarding fan. It was thanks to him that he began to travel, and later to talk about his travels. At first, these were posts on Instagram, and 4 years ago, Vlad started running his own YouTube channel. There is a lot of cool and useful content for lovers of active recreation, including skiing, but not only.

4. Thickets

“Hashchi” is a documentary project about “Ukraine without cosmetics”, created in 2018 by friends from Khmelnytskyi. For about 10 years now, they have been investigating the dying villages of Ukraine and showing “the provincial Ukrainian backstage, which everyone else usually avoids, is ashamed of, or simply doesn't notice”. of our regions with interesting excursions into history, unexpected finds, incredible nature, real conversations with locals and cool musical accompaniment, thanks to which there is an opportunity to get acquainted with the creativity of Ukrainian musicians.

5. Inside Out

“Inside Out” is a cult travel show by Dmytro Komarov, which was broadcast on the “1+1” TV channel since 2010, and since 2019, episodes can be viewed on the YouTube channel of the same name. Now there are more than 450 videos, most of which are dedicated to Dmitry's travels to exotic countries, but there are several projects about cool places and people in Ukraine.
