World leaders expressed condolences to all victims of the Brovary disaster

On January 18, foreign leaders and representatives of international organizations react to the tragedy in Brovary, Kyiv region.

“With deep sadness, I received the information about the helicopter crash in Brovary. My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the victims”, – President of Poland Andrzej Duda wrote on Twitter.

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, also reacted to the tragedy.

“The tragedy happened in the very heart of war-torn Ukraine. I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, Volodymyr Zelensky and the entire country. We mourn with you, & ndash; von der Leyen noted.

“We join in the grief after the tragic helicopter accident in Brovary. Minister Denis Monastyrsky was a great friend of the EU. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and the people of Ukraine,” & ndash; noted the head of the European Council Charles Michel.

EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas reacted to the tragedy.

“I was horrified to learn about the death of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky and his deputy Yevgeny Enin. They were excellent cooperation partners and friends. My deepest condolences to the family and friends, & ndash; he wrote on Twitter.

The British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons was also shocked by the tragic death of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and civilians.

"I knew both Minister Monastyrsky and his first deputy Yenin well. My sincere condolences to their families and our partners in the government of Ukraine in connection with this loss”, & ndash; Simmons wrote.

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said she was stunned by the terrible news from Brovary.

“Stunned and saddened by the terrible news from Brovary. My deepest condolences to the families of Minister Monastyrsky, First Deputy Yenin, as well as all those who died and were injured in the disaster this morning. Our hearts are with the Brovary community and our friends and partners from the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, – Brink noted.

German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen also expressed her condolences to the families of those who died as a result of the helicopter crash in Brovary.

“Shocked by the news that the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky and our friend Yevgeny Yenin, his first deputy, died in a helicopter accident. Among the dead and injured were other employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as children. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims and colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs” , – noted the diplomat.
