Work safety NB is investigating following the death of a 37-year-old man in a work accident in Saint -Jean, in New Brunswick.

According to local police, emergency crews were called to a business in Spruce Lake Industrial Park shortly after 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

The man was injured while operating a work truck, Sergeant Sean Rocca shared Friday.

Police would not reveal the nature of the accident or whether the man was driving the truck and said no details would be released to protect the integrity of the truck. investigation.

Employees and first responders administered first aid to the injured person following the accident and he was then transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
