Ukrainian label Enko announced that it is terminating the production contracts with its most famous artists – the bands Kalush and Kalush Orchestra, rapper Alyona Alyona, rapper Skofka and Kozak Siromaha.< /p>

The company will now focus on the development of Ukrainian artists for foreign audiences. The label announced this on Instagram.

The label reported that the termination of the contracts means that the artists will now choose the direction of their further development: they will create music at their own discretion, they will have the rights to commercial brands, social networks and performance of tracks recorded in Enko. In effect, these artists become independent musicians with the possibility of consulting with the label.

We are sincerely grateful for the years of joint work! We have been through so much together: victories, ups, downs and overcoming hate. We are proud to be a part of your development! And we also want to thank our entire team, who throughout all these years worked tirelessly, fell, rose and went further towards their goal. We went from 5 people to 50! We grew from 1 project to dozens of directions, new challenges, large-scale goals and billions of streams. We are infinitely grateful that together we created a real musical family, which we will continue to develop. We continue to launch new areas of work and move forward! – says the post.

Representatives of the label added that they aim to be an example of “healthy relations” between the label and the artists. This step is also explained by the fact that ENKO will focus on “the development of Ukrainian artists for foreign audiences and the provision of top services in Ukraine”.

We strive to show that Ukrainian music is capable of conquering the international scene and winning major awards, such as the Grammy, – the representatives of the label wrote.

The artist Carpetman, who is currently has 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, of which 93% are foreigners, and more than a million followers on TikTok, of which 97.1% are foreign audiences.

Label Enko was created in 2020 by rapper Alyona Alyona and her sound producer and manager Ivan Klymenko – the name comes from the endings of their surnames “Savranenko” and ” Klymenko”. The first artists signed to the label were the rapper herself and the band Kalush.

ENKO will continue cooperation with KOLA, YAKTAK, MamaRika, Balsam, Golubenko, NICHKA, Shugar, KRUTH, elarm, Oi Fusk, DOVI, VERLOKA and others.
