In Ukraine, the date of transition to winter time is traditionally the last Sunday in October.
In 2020, it will be necessary to move the hands back an hour on the night of Saturday, October 24, to Sunday, October 25 at 4:00 am, and it will be possible to sleep an hour longer.
As doctors say, our body reacts better to the winter setting of the clock than to the summer one, but it is still not an easy test. He can react to the new daily routine with sudden changes in mood, depression, exacerbation of problems in those who suffer from cardiovascular and chronic diseases.
By the way, young and healthy people need about a week to “transition”, but children and older people usually adapt much longer.
A few simple tips will help you get used to the new regime.
- A few days before the transfer of the arrows, it is worth trying to go to bed 15-20 minutes later than usual.
- For now, you should avoid strenuous physical exertion, do not stay too long at work, and, if possible, just have a good rest.
- Herbal teas, soft music and the like will help your nerves.
- At this time, it is worth remembering about proper nutrition – give up fatty foods and alcohol, try to drink more water, choose food rich in vitamins.
