Rain, ice, snow and strong winds are forecast this weekend in several regions of the Atlantic provinces, proof that winter is not yet over. p>

Winter storm warnings are in effect for Saturday in several areas of New Brunswick.

As of Saturday afternoon, snow is expected in parts of the center and northeast of the province, including the Acadian Peninsula and the Chaleur region. Snow accumulations of up to 30 cm to 40 cm are forecast through Sunday morning.
