Will protect the sky from the Eagles: a new FPV drone VB140 Flamingo was created for the Armed Forces

VB140 Flamingo drones are capable of destroying Russian reconnaissance UAVs that adjust fire at any time of the day.

The Ukrainian company Vinnytsia Bees announced the completion of interdepartmental tests of the VB140 Flamingo wing-type FPV interceptor drone, created to intercept Russian reconnaissance drones. Details about the new drone were revealed by the company's director Andriy Oleksiuk in an interview with dev.ua.

According to Andriy Oleksiuk, during the tests, the VB140 Flamingo demonstrated the ability to detect, pursue and neutralize Orlan reconnaissance UAVs. The Russians use Orlan UAVs to adjust fire, so their destruction is critically important for security.

It is reported that the VB140 Flamingo can operate at an altitude of up to 4.5 km and cover a distance of up to 50 km. The UAV is equipped with high-precision sensors, and additional flexibility in settings allows the device to adapt to conditions, both day and night.

The manufacturer emphasized that the high level of autonomy makes the VB140 Flamingo an indispensable tool for tracking and intercepting air targets. The UAV has already passed testing and is ready for large-scale implementation in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

“VB140 Flamingo — this is an important step forward in the technological development of Ukraine. Its potential in the fight against enemy scouts can significantly reduce the effectiveness of reconnaissance and fire correction, which is extremely applicable for the protection of civilians and our soldiers,” — noted the developers.
