Current polls indicate that Rafał Trzaskowski has the greatest chance of winning. There are voices that Law and Justice will decide to change the candidate. Is there any truth to these reports??

Presidential elections ahead of us

The presidential election will be held on May 18 this year. If the vote were held today, Rafał Trzaskowski would win. The Civic Coalition politician would face a candidate supported by PiS in the second round. Currently, it is Karol Nawrocki.

There are voices that PiS may decide to replace Nawrocki if Nawrocki's ratings in the polls do not increase significantly. Tomasz Trela ​​from the Left believes this. In his opinion, the IPN chief's campaign is not going as PiS politicians had hoped. „He currently has a problem with PiS voters finding their way around him”.

These reports are vehemently denied by Przemysław Czarnek, who until recently was mentioned as a candidate for the presidential election. “They would like someone to replace Nawrocki, but that won't happen! He will win the presidential election very comfortably– stated the former Minister of Education, quoted by the tabloid.

Dziennik adds that Przemysław Czarnek is to be heavily involved in Nawrocki's presidential campaign, engaging in the IPN chief's tour of the country. At the moment, Nawrocki cannot be happy with the polls.

In the latest poll commissioned by Radio Zet, Rafał Trzaskowski is leading, enjoying the support of 32 percent of respondents. In the same poll, Karol Nawrocki received support at the level of 24 percent. Third place was taken by Sławomir Mentzen with 15 percent. votes.

The next places are occupied by: Szymon Hołownia (7 percent), Krzysztof Stanowski (4 percent), Magdalena Biejat (3 percent), Grzegorz Braun (3 percent), Adrian Zandberg (2 percent), Marek Jakubiak (1 percent). Marek Woch, Piotr Szumlewicz and Joanna Senyszyn obtained 0 percent.
