The three co-founders of the public organization “Osokorka Ecopark”, who have been blocking the construction of the “Patriotika on the Lakes” residential complex for years. (now “H2O” residential complex), own a total of 15 private houses, apartments and other real estate objects. This is stated in the article of the publication “Narodna Pravda”. Oleksandr Pylypenko owns two cottages in the “Sonyachny” garden cooperative. near the construction site of the “H2O” residential complex, 6 apartments and a parking space in Kyiv, as well as a private house and a plot of land in the Makarivskyi district of the Kyiv region.
The co-founder of the organization, Volodymyr Dykiy, also owns a private house near the lakes in Osokorky (Str. Sadova, 57) and two apartments in the capital.
The third co-founder Serhiy Malomuzh also has his own apartment in Kyiv. In 2022, he ran for deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the banned Russian party OPZZH and has a joint business with the former top manager of Ukrgasbank, Yehor Rusyn, who is involved in criminal proceedings for the embezzlement and embezzlement of property.
Another co-founder, Mykhailo Petelytskyi, in September 2018, six months after the beginning of public confrontations surrounding the construction, received UAH 10.5 million from the budget of the city of Kyiv for the creation of a network of kayak centers in Kyiv. One of these kayak centers is located in the so-called "Ecopark Osokorka", directly on Lake Martyshiv.
"Probably, the start of construction works would not benefit the tourism business, and they decided to block them at any cost. From the beginning of the confrontation in Osokorki, it was not similar to the protection of ecology, but rather to the protection of one's own interests. Someone has an established business on the lakes, others — live directly on the shore and do not want to suffer temporary inconveniences in connection with construction works and future new neighbors, — it says in the material.
After the "fall" Bank “Arcade” 39 high-rise buildings in the Darnytsky district of Kyiv, on the site near the Nebrezh and Tyagle lakes, turned out to be unfinished. More than 10,000 investor families were left without apartments. At the same time, the audit revealed a deficit for the completion of about 3.6 billion hryvnias, which neither the state nor the city was ready to finance independently.
A Memorandum was signed for the completion of the facilities in 2021. According to it, the authorities guaranteed the Stolitsa Group company the transfer of land plots in Osokorki and their unhindered development. In July 2023, construction resumed, but eco-activists again began to obstruct it.
In 2019, in order to settle the conflict and take into account the interests of both investors and eco-activists, the KMDA along with 176 hectares under the residential complex “Patriotika on the Lakes” (now "H2O") gave the status of a green zone to two adjacent plots with a total area of about 400 hectares. Since then, this plot has remained ownerless.
