>New rules for participants

This year, “Miss Universe” became a record number of participants – 125 models from different countries competed for the main title. In addition, the organizers introduced important changes: they abolished age restrictions.

Previously, only girls between the ages of 18 and 28 could participate in the competition. Now these limits have been removed, which opens the door for a wider range of applicants. There are also no height and weight restrictions.

The competition, held in Mexico for the first time since 2007, emphasized its readiness for change and openness to new formats. The triumph of Victoria Kjer became not only a historical moment for Denmark, but also a symbol of a renewed approach to the understanding of beauty and talent on the international stage.
