Wi-Fi router

Turning off the router at night is only useful if there are no important devices connected to it, such as a home phone or elements of a “smart house”. Frequent shutdowns can cause problems with reconnecting to the network. In addition, turning off the Internet at night can create inconvenience for those who actively use gadgets at this time. And the cost of electricity is usually lower at night.

Inkjet printer

Frequent outages of inkjet printers are also undesirable. Each time the device is turned on, the print head is cleaned, which leads to excessive ink consumption. If you turn off your printer just because you're afraid of a burnout, it could do more damage to the device itself.

OLED TV

OLED TVs are among the most vulnerable to frequent shutdowns. Pixels on such screens are automatically updated in the background, and interrupting this process can negatively affect image quality. Before you completely turn off the TV, you should find out from the manufacturer whether it is advisable or whether it is better to use the standby mode.
