On October 25, Friday, as part of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, which falls on October 27, the All-Ukrainian radio dictation of national unity will take place.< /p>

This initiative was started by the Ukrainian Radio team back in 2000 with the aim of uniting Ukrainians around their native language. Over the years of its existence, the radio dictation has become the largest Ukrainian-language flash mob, which unites not only Ukrainians, but also fans of the language from all over the world, writes Suspilne Kultura.

The name of the author of this year's text and the one who will read it on the air will be announced later.

Last year's text was written by a well-known writer and translator, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize, Kateryna Kalytko, and it was read by Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi, an actor and theater director.

In 2023, over half a million people joined the radio dictation, and we received about 20 thousand works. Seven participants were recognized as winners.
