What the habit of leaving the charger in the socket can lead to: possible consequences

Quite a lot of people leave the charger power unit in the socket after the smartphone has been charged.

< p>The reason is banal laziness. The owner of the gadget does not want to take out the charger, because then this device will still have to be returned to its place. However, you should not be so lazy, because the consequences may not be the most pleasant.

And it is not about increasing electricity consumption, because if you have to pay more for electricity, then it is not much.

It is about much more serious troubles. So, what can the habit of leaving the charger plugged in lead to?

Surge

Sometimes the power is turned off and then on again. During the second process, the voltage may “jump”.

For devices connected to the outlet, such a process may not end in the best way. For example, the charger may simply stop working.

Ignition of the device

Yes, such a consequence is extremely rare. And yet such a risk should be taken into account.

Most likely, nothing will happen to a high-quality charger. But a cheap charger can get very hot and even catch fire.

Thus, if you often leave the power supply in the socket, it is better to stop doing it.
