What insiders say about the upcoming PlayStation console 6

There are rumors about the PlayStation 6 game console.

It will probably be released in 2027. The information on this was taken from Microsoft's official court document as part of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, reports Digital Trends.

It says that Sony will have exclusive access to Call of Duty until 2027, and that Sony will have special access to Call of Duty until the release of the next generation console.

Based on the prices of previous models and the expected specifications, the PS 6 is unlikely to cost less than $500 dollars. The price may reach $600.

The exact specifications of the PlayStation 6 are unknown. Some insiders say that Sony intends to make its new console the most powerful on the market. PlayStation 5 is inferior in this regard to Xbox Series X. The difference is not evident in every game, sometimes Microsoft's console shows better graphics quality and more stable performance.

Sony is confident in choosing AMD as its partner for creating processors and does not have plans to work with Intel or Nvidia, sources say.

PS6 could get full support for ray tracing and path tracing, and advanced AI capabilities. The console will get a more modern SSD to minimize loading times and increase overall performance.

The unique feature of the PS6 will be support for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution. It will allow you to run games either with a 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, or with a 8K resolution at 60 frames.
