Popular Ukrainian artists Artem Pyvovarov and KOLA presented a joint song. It was written to Mykhailo Starytskyi's poem “Call” as part of the “Your poems, my notes” project.

The long-awaited duet recorded a new version of the song “What a moonlit night”. The author of the music is Artem Pyvovarov himself. Watch the music video for the song on YouTube.

The video takes the viewer back in time. It shows how certain works were created in different periods: once they were written by hand with a pen, later – with the help of typewriters, now – they are created and stored in different formats.

Presenting your vision of the classics is always a big responsibility. This poem by Mykhailo Starytskyi is more than a century old, it is known by different generations. In the project Your poems, my notes, I strive to popularize and develop our culture, so we tried to consider this poetry through the prism of modernity, – says Pyvovarov.

KOLA says that the poem “Challenge” was special to her since childhood. After all, each line resonated with something close and familiar to her.

When Artem offered to create a musical interpretation of this classical piece as part of his project Your poems, my notes, I happily agreed. We did not just use the poem, but added our own vision, created a new melody that emphasizes depth and mood. I was very comfortable working together with Artem Pivovarov, I put my whole soul into our duet, and I really like the result, I hope that listening to it will bring the same positive emotions to the listeners, says the singer.

Artem Pyvovarov presented a record called “Your poems, my notes” – a collection of compositions published in his author's project of the same name, which sets itself the main task of popularizing national culture through music prism.
