The web marketing agency, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, saw its turnover jump by 25% in 2020. It has doubled its workforce, which now reaches 25 people, and further hires are planned. short term.

To help it in this expansion, Rablab now relies on the presence of a full-time HR manager. A position made necessary to better face the challenges of recruitment and develop its employer brand.
The agency is looking for two types of expertise, namely very technical profiles who know the different SEO strategies (the famous SEO, SEM, SMO …) and the main online commerce platforms. It also needs specialists in customer relationship management, in addition to project managers.
“There isn’t really a specific training program for what we do,” explains Maxime Bergeron. For us, it is important to make employees grow in their role. For each of them, we draw up a development plan with objectives to be achieved over a horizon of six and twelve months, and even longer term. “
Rablab offers in-house training so that the person becomes independent in their work and adds strings to their bow.
“We are looking for people who have a sense of initiative. There are a lot of online training courses that are free and lead to certifications on different software. Even if the person does not have a specific diploma, his application may be of interest to us. “
To facilitate the recruitment of experienced people, the SME in particular has chosen to turn to France.
“About 50% of the team is of French origin,” explains Maxime Bergeron. They are more advanced than us in the field of web marketing. Some were already installed here, the others, we went to look for them there. “

As a young agency, the company has implemented various measures to create a stimulating and attractive working environment. Telecommuting was well established even before the coronavirus pandemic. It also offers flexibility in schedules. The 9 to 5, that does not exist at Rablab.

It is important to keep employees up to date with what is happening at the agency. It contributes to the feeling of belonging. We also organize meetings at the end of the day that aim more to relax and have fun in groups. “
