We prepare fluffy buns with cherries, which will bring comfort to your day

If you like fragrant dough, then we suggest baking it yourself. For this reason, we have brought you a recipe for delicious buns with cherries.

Chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo shared it on his Instagram. It's a good idea to cook together, because cherry buns are love!

Ingredients:

  • Milk – 250 milliliters;
  • Yeast – 7 grams;
  • Sugar – 60 grams;
  • Egg – 1 piece;
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • Flour – 520 grams;
  • Butter – 80 grams.

For the filling: ⠀

  • Cherries – 300 grams;
  • Sugar – 80 grams;
  • Cream – 30 milliliters.

For streusel:

  • Oil – 30 grams;
  • Flour – 50 grams;
  • Sugar – 20 grams.

>Method of preparation:

  1. Combine warm milk with yeast and sugar. Add an egg and mix.
  2. Add salt, flour and knead the dough. Cover with cling film and put in a warm place for 1 hour.
  3. For the cherry filling, pour sugar and cream into a pan and cook until thickened.
  4. Roll out the dough, cut it into pieces, form balls . Also roll out the balls, put the filling inside and fasten in the middle.
  5. Form the buns and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Let it rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare streusel: mix butter, flour and sugar, grind into crumbs.
  7. Grease the buns with egg yolk and sprinkle with streusel.
  8. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes at a temperature of 180°.
