In April 2022, Alan Badoev publicly promised to work on the cultural border between our enemy and Ukraine. The first step was the director's documentary film “Long Day”, which allowed viewers from more than 35 countries to experience the truth about the war in Ukraine. It's time for the second step.

The multimedia project, on which Alan Badoev and Olga Navrotska worked for three years, was called “Chronicles of Power”.

Work on the project began in May 2022, immediately after the de-occupation of Kyiv region. Then, after a 10-year break in work, Alan and Olga met in Kyiv on Volodymyrska Hill and found an idea that they both liked.

Since then, the project has grown significantly and attracted historians, mythologists, geographers, artists, composers, designers, language consultants, researchers and other unique specialists, continuing to unite talented Ukrainians.

We strive to revive the memory of our roots for Ukrainians and create new legends that will give strength to all future generations and enchant the world. Therefore, they took all the most interesting things from our mythology and history and turned them into an unusual, autochthonous universe that will reveal what Ukrainian power consists of and where it comes from, the creators of the project note.

In the words co-founder of the BadoevID creative agency Anna Kovaleva, it is important to support and promote projects, which tell about the history and culture of the nation, because it is through them that we preserve our national identity and pass it on to future generations. History helps us understand who we are and allows us to learn from the mistakes and achievements of the past.

Culture, in turn, shapes our values, traditions and worldview. By supporting such projects, we not only enrich the national heritage, but also reveal our uniqueness to other peoples, promoting mutual understanding and respect in the world. That is why the BadoevID agency will be responsible for the development of the project. We are happy to unite Ukrainian companies and brands and are sure that it will be an incredibly beautiful, emotional journey, – comments Anna Kovalyova.

Chronicles of Strength begins its long journey with a prologue called “Prayer” Forces”. According to Alan Badoev and Olga Navrotskaya, this prayer was created in order to convey the power of our roots to every Ukrainian in the darkest times.

“Prayer of Strength” is a manifesto of unity. It presents the main characters of the epic, which is based on folklore and mythological roots and historical events from Scythian times to the present. The first Cossack character Hort, Princess Olga, the god of thunder and military exploits Perun, the Scythian queen of the Amazons Tabithi and the Ukrainian goddess of death and balance Marena address the audience in prayer.

Music for the prologue “Chronicle of Power ” wrote Max Barskikh. This is far from the musician's first work as a composer. The fantasy universe will include comics, an art book, an animated and artistic series, as well as a computer role-playing game.

The first closed presentation of the “Chronicles of Power” project for journalists took place on October 9 in the capital's “Oscar” cinema ( Mall “Gulliver”).
