Warhammer 40K: This new animated series is being destroyed by fans

While the future of the Warhammer 40K series starring Henry Cavill is still uncertain, the most popular space fantasy universe for toy figurine fans has returned with a new animated series. However, this latest series does not seem to be able to… find a place in the hearts of fans and gets destroyed.

A sad failure for Warhammer+

Released in 1987, Warhammer 40Kwas originally a futuristic expansion of the fantasy-themed board game Warhammer Fantasy Battle released a few years earlier, before becoming a full-fledged license. The universe continued to grow with expansions, novels, but also video games, a film in 2010, and numerous animated series. These latter arrived late with the release of the Warhammer+ streaming service from 2021 to the present day, a service unfortunately still not available in France.

Warhammer 40K: this new animated series is being destroyed by fans

Last August, the new anthology series The Tithesbased on this mythical space fantasy universe has arrived on Warhammer+, with three episodes without direct connection even if they take place in the same universe. The first focuses on a duo of highly trained Space Marines equipped with armor worthy of the best power armor in the Fallout universe. The second takes us to the Adeptus Custodes and the Sisters of Silence, whose primary mission is to protect the Emperor. Finally, the last episode follows representatives of the Adeptus Administratum administration. Although visually very beautiful, these three anthology episodes do not seem to have succeeded in conquering the fans of the universe and were destroyed on X:

Just watched the new Warhammer TV Girl boss episode. The Tithes Episode 2 Harvest. GW defying lore and the will of the fans airs female adeptus custodes. Dog shit. Canceling my sub. Fuck GW. pic.twitter.com/yaxElsYRIr

I just watched the new girl power episode of Warhammer TV, The TithesEpisode 2: Harvest. Games Workshop challenges lore and will fans by showing female Custodes. It's bullshit. I am canceling my subscription. Fuck you GW.

Watched episode three of The Tithes.

That was some of the most brainded, grimderp writing I've ever encountered in 25 years of being a Warhammer fan. Another swing and a miss from Warhammer+ pic.twitter.com/w8Rp1246Ep

I saw the third episode by The Tithes.

This was probably one of the most absurd and unrealistic scenarios I have ever seen, as a Warhammer fan for 25 years. Another failure from Warhammer+.

How much will you take from me? Was the first 2 tithes not enough?!?!? pic.twitter.com/K1GSPo9SEN

To Warhammer Official's post:

The third episode of The Tithes is now available on Warhammer TV.

Watch it now!

How much more are you gonna take from me? Weren't the first two episodes of The Tithes enough?!?

If you've had the chance to watch the series, let us know what you think in the comments and don't miss out on the new video game based on this universe Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
