Zelensky does not believe that now we can talk about the imminent end of the war in Ukraine, despite the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces.

In his interview with Reuters, the president rejected the assumption that that the war is coming to an end.

“It is too early to talk about the end of this war,” he said.

At the same time, the president expressed the opinion that the supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine would have been reduced if Kyiv had not launched a counter-offensive, and that territorial gains would impress other countries.

“I think this is a very important step that has influenced or will influence the decisions of some other countries” ;, — Zelensky said.

He also repeated his call for partner countries to step up arms supplies to Ukraine.

“We would like more help from Turkey, we would like more help from South Korea . More help from the Arab world. From Asia", — he said.

Zelensky also referred to “certain psychological barriers” in Germany for the supply of military equipment due to its Nazi past, but emphasized that such supplies are vital for Ukraine to protect itself from “Russian fascism”.

When asked if there is evidence of Russian war crimes in the recently liberated territories of the Kharkiv region, the president replied: “All this is … There is some evidence, and assessments are being carried out, Ukrainian and international, and it is very important for us that the world recognizes this.”
