A finance company looking to investigate whether horror movies with a bigger budget are scarier is looking for applicants, who will each be paid $ 1,300 to watch 13 films.

FinanceBuzz is looking for a heart rate analyst during a horror movie. In short, a person who will be ready to enjoy several movies, while analyzing his heart rate, using a FitBit, the company said in a statement.

“We are investigating whether a horror movie with a big budget delivers greater thrills than those with a smaller budget,” the statement said.

Participants in the study will have to listen to more than a dozen films, including Paranormal Activity, The Blair Project, or Amityville: La Maison du Diable. The experience will last 9 days, and will run from October 9 to 18.

FinanceBuzz will provide the new analyst with a Fitbit tracker as well as $ 1,300 and a $ 50 gift card to cover the cost of renting the movies.

Entries must be submitted by completing a form by September 26, and FinanceBuzz will select a winner by October 1.
