The official representative of the brand in the Russian Federation confirmed the recall of over 1.6 thousand cars. The measure will affect such models as S60, V60, V60CC, S80, XC60, V70 and XC70 are also on the list. However, this is true in the case of copies produced between 2007 and 2018. The reason for the recall of the Volvo cars was a problem with the seat belt anchorages in the front seats. The strength of the rope can be degraded over time under certain conditions. If an accident occurs, there is a risk that the performance of the seat belt will decrease.

For those eligible for the recall program, the mountings will be replaced. At the same time, the corresponding repair work for Volvo owners will be carried out free of charge in specialized service centers.
