The former regional governor of Junín Vladimir Cerrónaddressed the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, and asked him to comply with the program of Free Peru, with which he won the 2021 general elections.

Through his Twitter account, the also general secretary of the ruling party referred to the president when responding to a tweet from Colombia's president-elect, Gustavo Petro, who won the second of his country's elections last Sunday.

“I request the mayors and governors of the country to prepare lots with legal titles to build university campuses and colleges that will sustain the infrastructure of a society of knowledge”, Petro wrote.

“I suggested this to the President (Pedro Castillo), in addition to specialized hospitals, in each region. Until today, neither terrain nor profile. We are still on time, comply with the Free Peru program”, Cerrón Rojas wrote in response to the tweet.

The left will win the presidency of Colombia for the first time after the triumph obtained on Sunday in the second round election by the former guerrilla and former mayor of Bogotá Gustavo Petro, of the Historical Pact coalition.

In this way, Petro, a 62-year-old economist, will succeed the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, and will govern in the period 2022-2026.
