Kamala Harris/Vivat
editor-in-chief Artem Litvinets in a comment for Suspilne Kultura.
In her memoirs, the vice-president shares her memories of her life and talks about what exactly shaped her outlook and inspired her professional path as a lawyer, and later as a politician.
“Truths We Cherish”, as Harris herself writes, is a collection of ideas, views and stories from life, not a political platform. Using examples from her own life and the lives of those who inspired her, the politician conveys a vision of a common struggle, a common goal and values in difficult times, the publishing house's blog noted.

She said that the publishing house is convinced of the importance of democracy and its values, which, in her opinion, are shared by the Ukrainian audience.
I want this book, when it is published and found in the hands of readers, became for them a wonderful journey through true values and reminded them of what we are all fighting for. After all, Kamala Harris and I are on the same side of the barricade, – Orlova added.
The process of translating the book is currently underway. “Truths We Cherish. An American Journey” will be published in 2025.
