On Sunday, June 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for a resolution on appealing to the EU countries with an appeal to support Ukraine in granting the status of a candidate to the European Union. The decision was made unanimously.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
“The Parliament unanimously supported the appeal (7471) to the EU countries by all factions and groups on granting Ukraine the status of an EU candidate country! For – 315”, – the people's deputy wrote.
According to the explanatory note, the document is aimed at appealing to the national parliaments and governments of the EU member states, as well as EU institutions with calls:

BAGNET recalls that on June 17 the European Commission recommended to provide Ukraine the status of a candidate for EU accession.
