The Ministry of Defense of Venezuela informed that fire on the plane was opened only after a double warning, as the aircraft continued to move in the airspace of the named country. When the military recorded the movement of the aircraft near their borders, they twice tried to contact the aircraft and warn about the consequences of illegal border crossing. However, the crew ignored the contact attempt. Further, a rocket was fired at the plane, as a result of a direct hit, the target was destroyed. The people on board the aircraft were killed. There is an American flag printed on the tail of the aircraft, and the registration number confirms its belonging to the United States.

Currently, experts are identifying the victims, there are no comments from the United States. At the same time, an incident in Venezuelan airspace indicates that a group of mercenaries could have been on board the intruder aircraft, writes Avia.pro.
