Using Android- tablets will become more convenient and comfortable

While studying the code of the second beta of Android 15 QPR1, Mishaal Rahman of Android Authority discovered changes designed to improve the user experience of tablet owners. In particular, Google wants to simplify work through a redesigned menu of keyboard shortcuts.

What else is known

Like most other operating systems, Android allows you to perform a number of actions using keys. For example, you can quickly open a list of all installed programs, go to the home screen, open recent programs, take a screenshot, and much more. There are so many of these keyboard shortcuts that Android has a special menu that lists all of them. Moreover, even this menu has its own keyboard shortcuts. However, until now this menu has been inconvenient to use on tablets, which should be fixed in Android 15 QPR1.

Mishaal Rahman managed to activate in the second beta of Android 15 QPR1 a special sidebar that allows you to quickly access the list of keyboard shortcuts . A demonstration of this process is shown above. All combinations are divided into several key categories, and the built-in search allows you to quickly find the ones you need.

The innovation is not useful for everyone, but active tablet users will be able to increase their productivity by performing various actions faster.
