US helicopter crash: six killed

Helicopter used for tourist flights crashed on a highway in West Virginia on Wednesday, killing six people on board, local media reported.

The helicopter, which was based at the Logan County Airport, crashed onto a highway and was on fire as rescue crews arrived, according to Ray Bryant, chief of operations for Logan's Office of Emergency Management.

Bryant described the helicopter as a Bell UH-1B from the Vietnam War.
