According to the general, the war is now in a new phase.
According to the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, US General Mark Milley, the possible reaction of the Russian authorities * to their latest failures in Ukraine remains unclear, so we must not lose vigilance.
This is reported by Reuters.
Milli stresses that he sees risks of escalation from Russia against the backdrop of a successful counter-offensive by the Ukrainian military.
“The war is not going well for Russia right now. Therefore, we all have an obligation to maintain a high level of readiness, vigilance,” Milley said.
According to him, US troops in Europe are under increased threat, but the military must be ready.
“ When fighting a war, you simply cannot be completely sure what will happen next,” the general said.
Milli declined to talk about Putin’s possible next move, but warned that the war had entered a new phase in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine seized the strategic initiative.
