US Congress to hold new hearings on UFOs

At the House committee hearings, “expert witnesses” will speak.

On Wednesday, November 13, the US Congress will hold a hearing on the subject of UFOs, which, according to some lawmakers, will allow new information to be obtained on an issue that is the focus of many conspiracy theorists and has recently attracted the attention of government officials. , reports The Guardian.

The House Oversight Committee hearing will be called “Unrecognized Anomalous Phenomena: Exposure truth”.

This will be the second hearing on the subject of UFOs organized by the US Congress to “further lift the veil on the government's secret Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) research programs” of the United States, and over the undisclosed results of these programs,” the House of Representatives said in a statement.

The hearing will be led by representatives Republicans Nancy Mays and Glenn Grothman.

The House statement also noted that Americans are frustrated by the lack of transparency from the U.S. government on the issue of unidentified anomalous phenomena.

Former U.S. counterintelligence officer Luis Elizondo , who for years claimed that the US government was hiding information about unknown anomalous phenomena, will speak at the hearing as an “expert witness”.

Many advocates of disclosing information about unknown anomalous phenomena are optimistic that the administration of US President-elect Republican Donald Trump will decide to release more government data on the subject.

In the US, more information about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) continues to be released to the public, the study of which is engaged in, in particular, by a specially created unit.
