Popular Ukrainian singer Nadia Dorofeeva presented a new composition “Nitroglycerin” about energy that makes us stronger. The author of the text was her husband, Misha Katsurin.
The new release became the first Ukrainian-language track that simultaneously topped EQUAL Global and EQUAL Ukraine – Spotify projects created to strengthen women's voices in the music industry. p>
The rhythmic track was written by the musician and restaurateur Misha Katsurin, who is not the first to lend a hand to the creation of his wife's hits. The song is about the pain and mistakes of the past, which every time make people stronger and give motivation to move forward.
It is a powerful energy that is hidden in our pain points and wounds of the past, making us braver and stronger My strength lies in gratitude for everything that happened, acceptance and readiness to move on. This is about my new release, the singer commented.
Along with the track, Dorofeeva also presented a non-standard video work for her. In the clip, the artist does not appear at all, instead, the Ukrainian dancer Marina Kushchova became its main character, who choreographed the singer's reflection.
The concept of the video is in motivation, which each of us finds and loses several times a day. When it seems that the surrounding world has nothing to offer, and the best solution would be to simply stop and stop acting. The most important and at the same time the most difficult thing is to find that first step to your spark. And it doesn't matter, walking, confidently standing on your feet or just starting to crawl towards her, finding strength along the way. Maryna Kuschova, one of the best dancers of our country, was able to feel this reflection of mine and live it in the choreography, the artist noted.
The new composition will be included in Nadia's future album. With this track, she opened pre-orders for the album “Heartbeat”, which will be released on September 26.
Finally, I allowed myself to choose myself: to experiment, to do whatever I want in my work. And the more I allow myself, the higher my songs are in the charts and the more support I feel – as a singer, as an artist, as a songwriter, as a woman – commented DOROFEEVA.
