United Nations Secretary General António Guterres is planning another visit to Ukraine. Stéphane Dujarric, press secretary of the UN Secretary General, reports this
At the invitation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Secretary General will arrive in Lviv on Thursday, August 18. There he is to meet with Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Later, he will go to the port of Odessa.
The visit of the UN Secretary General to Ukraine this week will be devoted, in particular, to the discussion of the “grain agreement”, the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and the murder of captured Ukrainian soldiers in the Yelenovka pre-trial detention center.< /p>
Then he will go to Turkey to see how the coordination center works.
Note that the administration of Turkish leader Erdogan has not yet announced his visit to Ukraine or a meeting with the UN Secretary General.
