Ukrposhta plans to deliver goods from Amazon to Ukraine

Amazon/ixbt < p>“Ukrposhta” is planning an agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS), which will allow the Ukrainian operator to deliver goods from Amazon and other American marketplaces to Ukraine.

This was reported by the general director ” Ukrposhty” Ihor Smilyanskyi in an interview with “Interfax-Ukraine”.

According to Smilyanskyi, Ukraine has already reached an agreement with the States regarding the delivery of small packages. At the same time, negotiations on parcels are ongoing, the results of which the general director of Ukrposhta hopes to achieve by January 1, 2025.

I just returned from the USA and I can assure you: we are conducting quite active negotiations with the USPS (postal service USA, which provides mail processing and delivery services to individuals and legal entities in the country and abroad). As soon as we manage to conclude an agreement, Amazon will open to Ukraine, he said.

He noted that he plans to conclude this agreement in November, so that it would be possible to prepare technologically. If the agreement with USPS is signed, then all large marketplaces that are not yet available will appear in Ukraine. The USPS works with all of them.

I would like to see this deal working in 2025. Ideally, of course, it would be good to conclude this agreement in November, so that technological preparations can be made. Therefore, there are such plans, and work in this direction continues, he said.

According to the general director of Ukrposhta, goods from Amazon will be delivered via Great Britain. First, they will arrive in London, and then in one day they will reach Ukraine.
