Ukraine's national team won two more awards at the World Shooting Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Our athletes won awards in small-caliber rifle shooting at a moving target, 50 m ( slow and fast movement).
26-year-old Ihor Kizyma became the vice-champion of the world in the MG-12 individual competition, and together with Danyl Danylenko and Denys Bablyuk climbed in this exercise to the highest step of the podium in the team championship.
For the three athletes, this is not the first award at these competitions, according to the NOC .
On Tuesday, August 29, Babliuk became the world champion in air rifle shooting at a moving target with a variable speed, 10 m, and Kizima took silver in this exercise. Together with Danylenko, they celebrated the victory in the team championship.
For women, on Tuesday Valentina Goncharova won bronze in the individual event in air rifle shooting at a moving target with variable speed , 10 m. Together with Galyna Avramenko and Viktoria Rybovalova she became second in the team.
BAGNET notes that as of August 30, the Ukrainian national team won 11 awards at the World Shooting Championship, of which five – gold.
