The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained the algorithm for returning to service after the NWCH.

Servicemen who left the unit for the first time without permission are given the opportunity to voluntarily return without criminal liability until March 1, 2025.

To return to the unit, you can use the “Army+” application, where the process of submitting a report takes about 5 minutes. The application helps at every stage, sending messages with instructions on further actions.

The Ministry of Defense also drew attention to the fact that a letter of recommendation from the unit where the serviceman wishes to serve further can be immediately added to the report in Army+.

“Yes, the military law enforcement service will know that the serviceman is needed in another unit. Then you can submit a report on a change of place of service also in Army+,” the message says.

The Ministry of Defense also emphasized that about 60% of those who expressed a desire to serve further and submitted a report to Army+ are now in the process of returning or have already fully resumed service in new units.
