Shooting took place in Jerusalem twice a day. The day before, seven people were killed and three more were injured as a result of shooting near a synagogue in Jerusalem.

Five minutes after the shooting, the police killed the suspect during a shootout. The attacker was identified as 21-year-old Heyri Alkam from east Jerusalem, the police are not aware of his possible links with the terrorists.

According to media reports, people died at the scene four men aged 20 to 60 years and one 60-year-old woman. Another five people were hospitalized, two of them – a 30-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman – died in hospitals. Among the victims – A 15-year-old boy, a 24-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman are in a moderate condition.
