Ukrainian weapons engineers have created a polymer sleeve for the high-precision 12.7x114HL cartridge

Ukrainian gunsmith engineers have successfully completed a series of research and testing works on the design and manufacture of a new polymer sleeve for the high-precision 12.7x114HL cartridge.

The sleeve was designed as a disposable one, but most of the fired polymer sleeves, after a slight crimping of the bottom part, were re-equipped.

Mass production of 12.7x114HL cartridges could not take place due to the difficult accessibility in Ukraine brass cartridges in caliber 14.5×114.

So, to solve the problem, Ukrainian specialists working with high-strength polymers were involved.

“Test firings confirmed the high-precision capabilities of the cartridge in the new polymer cartridge. Now we can say with confidence: there will be a lot of 12.7x114HL cartridges!”.
