Ukrainian Telegram channel “Trukha” banned in Belarus for “extremism,” Belarusian media

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs states that the network of channels “publishes deliberately false information about Belarus” and participates in “destructive propaganda”.

The Ukrainian network of Telegram channels “Trukha” was recognized as “extremist” and banned in Belarus. This was reported by the Belarusian publication “Nasha Niva” with reference to the decision of the Gomel Railway District Court and the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

It is reported that the Gomel Railway District Court has added 50 channels of the “Trukha” network to the list of “extremist” and banned channels on all platforms.

The GUBOPiK explained that the court's decision is related to “the publication of knowingly false information about Belarus, participation in destructive propaganda and informational dumping”.

“Well, a real “confession” from Russia's henchmen. So we are doing everything right, we are continuing to work”, — commented the decision in the Telegram channel “Trukha Ukraine”.

After that, the owner of the network Maksym Lavrynenko announced the launch of the channel “Trukha Belarus”.

“We are for the Belarusian people. We understand the difficult situation, we understand why it happened. It's cool that they recognize us, they are afraid of us. So, we are doing everything right”, — he said.
