Ukrainian-language audio guides have appeared in 2 of the world's top museums

Ukrainian-language audio guides have started operating in the Pompeii Archaeological Park and the Museum of Church Heritage in Vilnius. Now Ukrainians will definitely understand everything.

The good news was announced by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. She noted that it is not only about the comfort of Ukrainians, but also about respect for the language. This is reported by 24 Channel with a link to the president's website.

How to choose Ukrainian dubbing in Pompeii Park

Ukrainian audio accompaniment appearedin the form of the MyPompeii mobile application.

First Lady Olena Zelenska thanked Italy, the museum and the Consulate General of Ukraine in Naples for the implementation of this project. After all, now Ukrainians will be able to listen to the history of the ancient Roman city in their native language without any obstacles.

This is not only about comfort for Ukrainians. It is also about respect for the language of the country, which is resisting destruction every day. But dictators – are not a natural disaster. They can and should be resisted. What Ukraine is doing and showing by its example, – said Olena Zelenska.

In addition, an audio tour in Ukrainian is now also available at the Museum of Church Heritage in Vilnius. So Ukrainian visitors will be able to learn the story of the rescue of the ancient treasures of the Lithuanian cathedral, which were walled up on the eve of World War II. They were only discovered in the 1980s.

Another proof that national heritage does not perish, but returns to the peoples to whom it belongs. And no wars will prevent the preservation of culture and memory, – the first lady added.

She thanked Lithuania, the museum and the Ukrainian embassy in the country for the implementation of the project.
