Satellite images from Planet Labs for August 14, which are at the disposal of "Schemes", show that Ukrainian drones hit the northwestern part of the airport – in particular, several hangars were destroyed.
According to aviation expert Anatoly Khrapchinsky, there is a technical and operational unit there, which is engaged in the repair and maintenance of aircraft.
The Borisoglebsk airfield is used by the Russian Air Force, in particular, Su-25, Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft are based there.
