Ukrainian driver Oleksiy Holovnya won the first city in the drift stage in Poland

Last weekend, the largest international Puchar Driftu festival took place at the Polish Jastrzab racetrack, which included drifting competitions.
Ukrainian athlete Oleksiy Holovnya won the golden double of the festival in his BMW M2 car, taking the first places in qualifying and double races, rodrobnosti reports.
In total, 63 riders from all over Europe took part in the competition. To the youngest athlete – only 10 years. Participants competed in two categories: Profi, for professional drivers and cars with more powerful engines and special tires; and Street for beginners on less powerful equipment.
In the finals of double races in the Profi category, Oleksiy defeated the Polish rider Mateusz Suski. Both athletes demonstrated bright races, but the Ukrainian turned out to be the best.
The festival at the Yastrub autodrome is popular among European manufacturers of automotive products and spare parts. The festival takes place once a year and brings together the biggest representatives of automotive culture and industry.
Olexii Holovnya is a Ukrainian professional racer, two-time Champion of Ukraine in Drifting, winner of the Eastern European Championship. This year, Oleksiy represents Ukraine in two of the world's strongest series – Drift Masters (European Championship) and Formula Drift (USA).
