Ukrainian developers presented innovative technological solutions that will help the Armed Forces on the battlefield

Ukraine held a large-scale hackathon «Offensive Machines 2.0». The goal — to create innovative solutions to counter modern threats on the battlefield. The event brought together more than 50 teams of engineers and developers who worked on the tasks of countering guided aerial bombs and fiber-optic controlled drones, informs Militarny.

For three weeks, the participants worked online with the support of mentors, and in the finals they presented their solutions offline. Among the winners are the teams FENEK, ARES, GAV, «Nichna Varta», Frontline, «KB Technari», Motorhouse and «Kvadrotura». The winners will receive grants in the amount of $150,000 to develop their projects, as well as support from the Ministry of Defense in implementing their solutions.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the developments will be quickly implemented to strengthen the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian troops. The problems that the teams solved are relevant due to the enemy's use of guided aerial bombs and fiber-optic drones, which makes it difficult to neutralize them by traditional means.

The event demonstrated a high level of engineering skill and a desire to find effective solutions to modern challenges on the battlefield.
