The Ukrainian military actively uses modern technologies to counter enemy reconnaissance drones. In particular, drones with netcomets are used, which effectively intercept small quadcopters of the Russian occupiers. This practice is gaining popularity due to the constant threat from drones that correct artillery fire, conduct reconnaissance and drop bombs, informs Military.
One of the producers of such innovations is the Ukrainian company Ptashka Drones, which supplies their systems to the military. Their netcomets have a light design (weighing only 373 grams) and are installed on common models of drones — Mavic and Autel. The device allows you to catch an enemy drone by entangling its blades, which makes it lose controllability.

The cost of one interception is about 1,200 hryvnias — this is the price of the charging cartridge. Ptashka Drones engineers are also working on an infantry interceptor gun to defend against FPV drones.
Developers recognize that the process of creating such devices is not without difficulties. Company representatives emphasize the need to maintain a balance between power, range and durability of the device. The interceptor gun is already in the final stage of testing.
